Recovery/support worker vacancies
You would be supporting vulnerable adults with alcohol/substance misuse/complex needs within a rehabilitation setting. As a Recovery/support worker you will manage a caseload of clients, undertake assessments, work alongside counsellors to develop client focussed recovery plans and support the clients throughout their treatment stay.
It is important to have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a varied and demanding role.
Previous care work experience is preferable, alongside relevant qualifications within health and social care/counselling/holistic therapies although not a necessity.
The candidate must be able to offer enthusiasm, dedication, pro-active and motivated ethos towards job role and best practice.
Training and development provided.
Central Essex/Chelmsford location preferable.
Shared shifts per week Monday – Friday 5pm-9.30pm + Sat/Sun 9-5pm
~40 hours divided by 2 positions.
Wage - £9 per hour
DBS certificate required
